Point Geodata were in action earlier this week with the mobile LIDAR system. We captured the Rimutaka Crossing, 12km of narrow twisting State Highway 2 over the Rimutaka Hills in the Wellington Region.
With very little room for any other survey capture method and the high efficiency of mobile LIDAR, this is surely the most practical way to obtain highly detailed accurate survey data on this stretch of road. Our client agrees!
